Pastor Sandy

Sandy_Sitting_compressedPastor Sandy is not your ordinary First Lady. She knows and operates with a calling to speak truth to power as a co-laborer in ministry with her husband, Apostle John Harvey. She is humbled that God thought enough of her to use her to prepare people for kingdom-building through spiritual leadership training, sound biblical teaching, and authentic worship. Her desire is to see Christians move beyond being entertained by spectating in the pews to reaching outside the walls of churches and ministering to the hearts, minds, and souls of people.
 
Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Pastor Sandy moved to the metro Detroit area in 2002. She is a graduate of Texas Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business and a Master of Business Administration in Organizational Management.
 
Pastor Sandy is the owner of Exodus Consulting Group, LLC, which provides strategic human resources and operations expertise for nonprofit and for-profit organizations by focusing on diversity and inclusion, leadership, talent management, training, and coaching for clients throughout the nation. She is passionate about providing those same services to the body of Christ and has served as a Pastoral Coach and church growth advocate for several years.
 
She feels blessed to lead Serenity’s women ministry, the Women of Purpose. “Every week I am challenged and I challenge women and young ladies to take the rejections, heartaches and sins of the past and plant them in God’s fertile ground for everlasting healing so that wholeness can begin.”  She encourages women to hold fast to Titus 3:1-11 and know that sometimes the pettiness of our current attitude is often a result of unresolved issues of the past. Her daily source of joy is Psalm 37:4, delight thyself also in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart. She confesses that she delights in the Lord because she knows that He is the source of greater things that she cannot access on her own.
 
On September 18, 2005, Pastor Sandy accepted her call to ministry. She has been diligent and tireless in her service in ministry. In 2006, God laid it on her heart to minister to the broken and damaged hearts of women, thus Heart to Heart Women’s Fellowship was birthed.  This ministry is defined as one that will encourage and equip women to desire true relationship with Christ before any other. On June 7, 2009, Pastor Sandy was licensed into Christian ministry and she was ordained on October 23, 2011.
 
Pastor Sandy serves as the Associate Pastor of Serenity Christian Church. She serves with a passion of growing the body of Christ through teaching, training and evangelism. In January 2011, she graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Evangelism and Church Planting.
 
Apostle and Pastor Sandy continue to minister the truth of His Word and stand as examples of God’s continued goodness and favor.
